Jant was a wonderful support for our daughter Anastasia in the Netherlands, and we loved her just as much as Anastasia did. Her passing has deeply saddened us, but we hold on to the belief that “people are never truly lost — they become amulets we carry with us, always.”

Geschokt was ik toen ik de rouwadvertentie in De Volkskrant las. Marjan zat bij mij in de vrouwengroep op de Sociale Academie Rotterdam (1981-1985). Ik herinner me haar als een lieve, integere, slimme meid. Oorbellen, leuke lach, bescheiden, betrokken. We hebben hele leuke jaren gehad. Triest dat ze ze zo jong is overleden. Sterkte voor allen die haar lief hadden.
